I'll be in Europe for four months touring with Second City. Sketch, Improv, Clown and Mime.

April 10th - May 17 2008
We assembled a team of writers and wrote six sitcom pilots. The sitcoms were then performed live. A new sitcom every week, competeing to be Picked Up. We made trailers for each show. I put my sitcom, The Mime, online. Watch The Mime...

The Fool Returns to His Chair
Fall 2007
The Fool (Returns to His Chair) was created by John Pierson and the ensemble as you read this. "A cast of Neo-Futurists and actors from various other theater companies present a history of fools through the ages with physical performance, comedy, rhythm and music... and without text or spoken word. THE FOOL covers everything from idiot savants to the ancient tarot traveling fool to the Muppets." This show was fun because I pretty much made up everything I did on the spot. It was satisfying in the end and probably... ok, not probably, definately the wierdest piece I've ever been in.Check out the blog...

July 25-29 2007!
I love Too Much Light Tours! July 2007 The Neo-Futurists are headlined the Washington DC Fringe Festival. We sold out every show. IIt was an all star cast. The whole city was buzzing. www.woollymammoth.net

GO DOG! GO!
April 13 -May 20 2007!
Chicago Children's Theatre put up a huge circus tent in downtown Chicago and filled it with clowns. I play Yellow Dog and I get to sing and dance and clown. Directed by Andrew White and starring Me, Alison Halstead, Adrian Danzig, Narciso Lobo, Molly Brennan, Johana Mckenzie Miller and including my friends Jonathan Mastro and John Pierson.

April 2007!
This was produced by a young upstart company called One Continuous Mistake. The ensemble attempted to use properties of Clown and Butoh performance and apply them to Samuel Beckets Endgame. Besides being crammed in a can for two hours it was fun and I was quite pleased with the performance. I know I look awefully sad in the picture but I was just acting.

Nov.-Dec.2006!
I created and co-directed Drag. It was a Drag show but it was also a confession and exploration of gender. I love the people in this show very much. The critics didn't get this one but the queers and trannies loved it. I wrote some of my best work in it. I have a huge makeup kit now. I got all of my eye make up from my favorite boutique Medusa's Circle.

April-June 2006!
This was my first show with Redmoon. It was a giant spectical in which the audience was served various gourmet truffles. Truffle was super fun and I made many friends for life. It was my first musical and I got to sing a touching love balad with the lovely Erin Flynn. I also got to go to Palm Springs with the whole cast. I really enjoy working with Frank and Vanessa.

The Santa Abductions
Winter 2005!
The Santa Abductions was a huge hit. It was the Neo-Fururists first holiday show and the first time I worked with director Sean Daniels in a play by Sean Benjamin. I ended up winning an After Dark Award for my performance as Santa #3. But Jay, Luke and the the two Sean's did all the work really.

Summer 2006 & Fall 2005!
Daredevils was a smash hit. We got to do an extended run at the Neo-Futurarium and also at Theater on the Lake. I might still have scars from this show. I learned how to tight rope walk and walk on broken glass. We might even be doing this show again. I got to work with Halena Kays, Anthony Courser, Ryan Walters, Andy Byates, Jay Torrence, John Pierson and Dan Broberg. Daredevils was super physical. There were acrobatics and stunts and I even had a short mime piece in it. And I got tight rope walking lessons from Arielle Ebacher, the hottest girl ever. We also had a blog...

Summer 2005!
This was a short 10 minute play for a festival called 7-10-50. Seven 10 minute plays in 50 minutes. It was produced by The 2nd City Training Center and Chicago Dramatists. The director was Andy Miara. It was a pretty miniscule thing to put on here. But I liked it. And I got to act with a kid. He wore a Sigmund Frued outfit and I basically freaked out and destryed a chair. The Chair was also one of several occasions that I got to work with my good friend Adam Yencho. I amaized I even took the effort to make a graphic for this.

Summer 2005!
For a short while in the summer of 2005 I had a talk show. I had a bunch of guests ie. The Windy City Rollers, Yuri Lane, Mucca Pazza, Found Magazine, and some dudes from the Late Night Late Show. Then I was a guest on the Late Night Late Show. I have a couple shows on video. I also had this real life intern, Chip Dickerson. Bilal Dardai was my awkward sidekick. We did the show as a test to see if it would work. It worked great. But I decided not to continue because I had too much on my plate at the time. I would like to do the show again someday.

I'm a company member of The Neo-Futurists and I write and perform in Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind, the longest running show in Chicago. I'm in this show at least 24 weeks a year. It's a choatic and wild show and it changes constantly.

Kapoot Clown Theater The two theater companies that I was an ensemble member of had agreed, before I was a member of either, to collaborate for the Neo-Futurists walking tour show based on Alice in Wonderland. Every chapter of the play was interpreted and performed by different theater companies throught the Andersonville neighborhood in Chicago. It was a super smash hit. Our chapter, the tea party, was performed behind a boutique. We made some new material and swapped out roles. It was fun. It was also interesting to get to do the same clown piece five time in a row for small groups rather than do one long piece once for the whole audience. It was the only time a non-Kapoot character was used in the material.
